Their strength and energy lead to torn up objects around the home. Require plenty of stimulation.  

Frenzied diggers and shredders when not sufficiently stimulated. Require extensive exercise.

Shed heavily year-round. Destructive chewing is common if daily exercise needs aren't met.

As hounds, strong urge to follow scents. This leads to wandering and digging behaviors.   

Digging and chewing tendencies due to their high prey drive. Require secure enclosures.  

Bred to herd livestock, their nipping and running can wreak havoc indoors.
